The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their expanding fit-out team.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of commercial fit-out projects across Northern Ireland, with travel to the Republic of Ireland and the rest of the UK where required.
The role will involve managing subcontractors, coordinating site and design teams, liaising with clients, monitoring programme and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations across commercial fit-out projects.
- Coordinate and manage multiple subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients, Contracts Managers and design teams.
- Monitor project programmes and ensure works remain on schedule.
- Coordinate labour, materials and site requirements.
- Schedule and procure materials in line with programme requirements.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality and ensure a high standard of finish.
- Maintain strong Health & Safety standards across site.
- Manage site documentation and reporting.
- Identify and resolve issues to minimise delays.
- Support projects from site commencement through to completion and handover.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous Site Management experience within commercial fit-out.
- Strong experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
- Good programme and project coordination experience.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Experience scheduling and procuring materials.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and people-management abilities.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- IT literate.
- Full driving licence.
- Willingness to travel across NI, ROI and the UK when required.
Desirable
- High-end joinery / specialist joinery experience.
- First Aid training.
- CSCS / CSR / SMSTS.
- Procore experience.
- Flexibility to work overtime, nights or weekends when project requirements dictate.
