An excellent opportunity has arisen for a NIGHTSHIFT Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing facility on a permanent night shift. This is an ideal role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to work in a highly regulated production environment with excellent long-term stability and the chance to work on modern process equipment.
Shift Pattern:
- Sunday to Thursday
- NIGHTSHIFT 10:00pm – 6:30am
- 40 hours per week

The Role:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production, facility and utility equipment.
- Support the installation, commissioning and validation of new machinery, including Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT).
- Diagnose faults, improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Manage spare parts, complete maintenance documentation and ensure cGMP compliance.
- Work closely with production teams and contractors to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Monitor BMS/EMS systems and respond to alarms when required.
The Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, medical device or another regulated industry.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Experience working to cGMP, SOPs or similar quality standards is advantageous.
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts and providing engineering support when required.
