NIGHTSHIFT Maintenance Engineer | Night Shift | 40 Hours | Sunday–Thursday | £56,561

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a NIGHTSHIFT Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing facility on a permanent night shift. This is an ideal role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to work in a highly regulated production environment with excellent long-term stability and the chance to work on modern process equipment.

Shift Pattern:

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • NIGHTSHIFT 10:00pm – 6:30am
  • 40 hours per week

  • £56,561 per annum

The Role:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production, facility and utility equipment.
  • Support the installation, commissioning and validation of new machinery, including Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT).
  • Diagnose faults, improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Manage spare parts, complete maintenance documentation and ensure cGMP compliance.
  • Work closely with production teams and contractors to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Monitor BMS/EMS systems and respond to alarms when required.

The Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, medical device or another regulated industry.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working to cGMP, SOPs or similar quality standards is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working permanent night shifts and providing engineering support when required.
