An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global leader in the design and manufacture of airport ground support equipment. The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment is maintained to the highest standard, minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs and support the installation and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
Duties include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintaining CNC laser cutting machines, CNC machining centres and fabrication equipment.
- Servicing welding equipment and supporting production machinery.
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Assisting with machinery upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer or Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong fault-finding skills on mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
- Experience maintaining CNC machinery, laser cutting equipment or manufacturing machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and maintenance documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
