Mechanical Fitter
Location: Dunnganon
Salary: £15 to £17.50 more for the rights candidate
Hours: Monday –Thursday 7.30am to 5pm, Friday 2pm
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a growing manufacturing team. You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly, fitting and testing of a range of industrial machinery and washing systems.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys building machinery, working from engineering drawings and solving mechanical problems.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit mechanical machinery and washing systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Install pumps, motors, valves, pipework, bearings and other mechanical components.
- Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment and adjustment.
- Test machinery and systems to ensure they operate correctly.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and testing.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler or similar.
- Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience working with pumps, motors, valves or pipework would be beneficial.
- Experience with industrial machinery or washing systems would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
