An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing business. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the Finance Department, oversee financial operations, and provide strategic financial support to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow and financial reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end processes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax and financial regulations.
- Oversee payroll, cash flow, costing and monthly reporting.
- Liaise with government agencies, insurers and legal representatives.
- Drive business improvement and support strategic decision-making.
Essential Criteria
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior finance role, ideally within manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and commercial awareness.
