Role: Financial Controller
Location: Belfast
Hours: Full Time – Flexible Hours
Pay: £60,000 – £70,000 plus bonus Per Annum
Reactive Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with one of Northern Ireland’s largest wholesale distributors to recruit a Financial Controller.
The Role:
This is a key leadership role for an experience finance professional who can maintain financial control, provide strategic insight, and support the continued growth and operational efficiency of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
- Lead month-end and year-end reporting, delivering accurate financial statements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Provide commercial and financial guidance to senior leadership and operational teams
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings and external audits
- Support strategic projects, investments appraisals and business case development
The Requirements:
- Experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Experience in fast paced, high pressure environments and working to tight deadlines
Desirable:
- Partially Qualified in CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent
- Experience in FMCG
