The Role – Estimator
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Estimator to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Cost Management
- Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Produce detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documents
- Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions
Tendering & Procurement
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist in bid preparation, tender submissions, and client presentations
- Support the development of competitive and commercially viable tenders
Project Coordination
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather key information
- Work closely with project management and operations teams to align estimates with delivery
- Maintain awareness of current market trends, pricing, and construction methods
Reporting & Communication
- Ensure clear and accurate documentation of all estimates and tender information
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
- Support continuous improvement within the estimating function
Candidate Requirements
- 3–4 years’ post-graduate experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
- Strong understanding of cost management, estimating, and contract administration
- Proficient in industry software such as Evaluate and Procore
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organisational ability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
