The job in a nutshell:
Essentially, your job will be to take operational and commercial responsibility for electrical projects from planning right through to completion and handover.
You’ll oversee projects valued up to £3m, coordinating clients, labour, subcontractors, procurement, programme and commercial performance to ensure everything is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required standard.
You’ll also manage quotations and variations, monitor project costs, oversee procurement and payment applications, resolve technical issues and provide regular project updates to the Contracts Director.
This is primarily a Belfast-based role, so you can operate at Contracts Manager level without the extensive weekly travel often associated with similar positions.
Should you apply?
We think you should apply if you’re a time-served Electrician or Electrical Engineer with strong commercial and/or industrial experience and at least 3 years’ experience within an Electrical Contracts Manager or Electrical Project Manager position.
You should be comfortable taking both operational and commercial ownership of projects, with experience across areas such as:
