Role: Continuous Improvement Design Engineer
Location: Omagh
Hours: 40 Hours
Pay: £45,000 – £50,000

The Job in a Nutshell:
Essentially, your job will be to support both new product development and continuous improvement, taking designs from concept right through to production while enhancing existing equipment performance, safety, and reliability.
Should You Apply?
We think candidates with 3+ years in equipment design/manufacturing should absolutely apply.
You’ll have a strong chance if you also bring:
- Experience designing mechanical, structural, hydraulic, or electrical/control systems.
- Strong CAD ability (SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience with tracked plant, mobile equipment, FEA, or hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (cutting, forming, welding).
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Agricultural, Industrial Engineering or similar.
- 3+ years’ experience in equipment design & manufacturing.
- Proficient in 3D CAD, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems (Oracle desirable).
- Ability to read, interpret, and create engineering drawings.
- Understanding of metal fabrication/manufacturing processes.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
